LARGE METAL MASK from the 1970s by unknown producer - gorgeous Brutalist metal warrior mask - decorative wall hanging in very good vintage condition.
An alluring mask, comprised of aged metal elements, welded together to form a smiling face with warrior helmet. Swirling golden welds emphasizes the facial features as well as decorated with helmet, which also features a spearhead, placed in the center of the helmet.
The contrasting red-brown metal with the rustic finish and golden welds captures your attention when hung on the wall, and it would be quite a conversion piece no matter where you would place it - in the entry way, living room or even the bedroom.
Inside, it is signed HCA near the bottom - unfortunately I have not been able to find any information about this piece or artist - it is still a gorgeous wall piece, and it is in very good vintage condition with very few signs of usage and age. Please see the photos.
