In the moonlight dancing…
These tribal earrings are a lost wax cast in Shibuichi, an ancient Japanese method of mixing copper with sterling silver, in this case 50/50%, and have just a slight rosy silver hue. The Ear wire is 18 gauge sterling silver and for those accustomed wearing earrings. They are light weight and dangle happily around your neck ;)
Earring Length: 2 6/10” incl. ear wire
Inspired by a poem of Juliett Jade Chi
In the moonlight dancing
We dance in slivers of silver moonlight, a gathering of women illuminated in the quiet night.
A circle of goddesses disguised as lawyers, artists and teachers, office managers and healers.
We reflect each other's power glowing from the mirror of our eyes, recognizing ancient moon cycles while touching the rhythm of the earth with bare feet.
Footsteps pound to the ground, as if knocking to gain entry back into the core of creation.
We dance to toughen the skin of our soles and soften the skin of the modern world, We dance to unleash the anger of wounds and restriction and tie together the threads of hope and shared intention. We dance to telephone the goddess within and ask her how to solve the dilemmas at hand and fuel this revolution.
She answers us with a smile, reminding us to keep dancing, to throw our head skyward and find ourselves again in the laughter and starlight.
